Well-Distributed Program Throughout the Year

In the critical period between 12 and 23 months, children experience remarkable transformations in brain development, influencing how they perceive and interact with the world. Our Under Twos program is meticulously designed to support and nurture these developmental changes.

Conflict Resolution Through Descriptive Language

We use descriptive language to navigate conflicts, emphasizing understanding and empathy. Instead of general praise like "Good job," we describe the specific actions of children, reinforcing their efforts and accomplishments. This approach nurtures self-esteem and a sense of competence.

Morning Exploration and Learning

– 8:30 – 9:20: Open Play/Projects

– 9:20 – 9:35: Morning Meeting-Songs-Fingerplay

– 9:35 – 9:40: Clean Up/Wash Hands

– 9:40 – 10:00: Snack

– 10:00 – 10:10: Story Time/Rug Time

– 10:10 – 10:50: Gross Motor/Outside

– 10:50 – 11:30: Open Play

– 11:30: Goodbye Circle/ Half Day Dismissal

Afternoon

– 11:30 – 12:10: Lunch/Wash Hands
 - 12:10 – 2:30: Rest/Sleep Time (as long as needed)
 - 2:30 – 2:40: Table work/manipulative
 - 2:40 – 3:00: Full-Day Dismissal

Extended Day

3:00 – 3:20: Snack/Wash Hands
 3:20 – 3:40: Afternoon Meeting
 3:40 – 4:10: Math/Cooking/Science/Music/Arts
 4:10 – 5:00: Open Play/Projects and Extended-Day 1 Dismissal
 5:00-5:20: Gross Motor
 5:30: Extended-Day 2 Dismissal
